Centaurus is the son of Barrabinda Flinders Star, Grandson of the legendary Purrembete Inti and great grandson of the legendary Purrembete El Dorado. Most impressively, he is the grandson of the most celebrated Alpaca to date, Jolimont warrior, whose contribution to producing exceptional offspring cannot be overstated and Centaurus, without doubt, demonstrates his grandfather’s lineage in many, many ways. He exhibits all the stature and presence of his famous bloodlines. Centaurus has a very handsome head on a beautifully conformed strong boned frame. He is an exceptional mid to light fawn coloured alpaca with a consistent fine, extremely well organised bright, super soft handling fleece with an impressive lack of guard hair and with fantastic density. As you can clearly see from his fleece statistics Centaurus is maintaining real quality in his fleece as he ages. He is maintaining fineness and his CV and SD is very impressive and this consistency is reflected in his fleece and that of his cria. Centaurus is passing all of these positive traits onto his offspring and is rapidly gaining a reputation for producing future champion alpacas. Centaurus offspring exhibit a fine, well defined, well organised, dense, crimped fleece with very little guard hair, consistent colour with exceptional lustre.
