All of our DuPrem Alpaca fur gifts are made from the pelts of young alpacas which have unfortunately died from natural causes in Peru following a difficult year for farmers where 10,000s of animals died due to unexpected extreme weather conditions. By responsible sourcing these eithically minded products it allows families to receive financial support from the loss of income caused by the death of one of their herd during what the Peruvian Government has called a "State of Emergency"
